With Cape Byron being the most easterly point of the Australian mainland &#038; closest to the Pacific&#8217;s eastern current it provides the perfect platform for this annual pilgrimage. During the southern migration mothers and calves are sighted in the Bay&#8217;s pristine waters.</p>
